Textile fragments found in the deanery of the Abbey of Sint Truiden in Belgium, were dated early 16th century.

The pattern of one of the fragments has the same pattern as those in the canvas of El Greco ‘s “Vision of Saint John”(1608-14) and in Velázquez’s “Adoration of the Magi” (1619)
